Both Sohel’s Lucky Lakshman and Korameenu are slated to release this weekend across Telugu states
Two small-budgeted Telugu films are setting an example for the industry. Lucky Lakshman and Korameenu are among the flurry of small-budgeted films that are set to hit screens this weekend. In a thoughtful gesture, both teams decided to host and promote each other’s films at their promotional events. Lucky Lakshman’s pre-release event, hosted by Korameenu team, was held yesterday.
Sohel, Mokksha, Devi Prasad, Raja Ravindra, Sameer essay pivotal roles in Lucky Lakshman directed by AR Abhi and Korameenu, helmed by Sripathy Karri, features Anand Ravi, Kishori Dhatrak, Harish Uthaman and Shatru. In Lucky Lakshman’s pre-release event, Anand Ravi and Kishori Dhatrik from team Korameenu were the guests.
Opening up on Lucky Lakshman, the entertainer produced by Haritha Gogineni, Sohel shared, “Cinema and charity are the only things I’ve known in my life and I owe my progress to my father and Telugu people. Lucky Lakshman is a solid content-driven family entertainer. I admire my producer Haritha for her courage and I thank Anup Rubens for the superb tunes. Get ready for a laugh riot.”
Calling Lucky Lakshman a feel-good film, director Abhi said, “Sohel said yes to the film in the very first narration. I hope to associate with cinematographer I Andrew on every film from now. Anup Rubens’ music is a major highlight. Sohel is extremely helpful to his counterparts in the industry. Mokksha has a very memorable character too. I thank my producer Haritha for trusting my abilities.”
Producer Haritha Gogineni expressed her happiness on backing a quality project in the event that was also graced by actors Kadambari Kiran, Devi Prasad, composer RP Patnaik, producer Bekkem Venugopal, director Sai Rajesh, singer Rahul Sipligunj, to name a few. The team of Korameenu will be inviting the team of Lucky Lakshman, which is being organised today.
