Lucky Baskhar First Look is out – Dulquer Salmaan sports a retro avatar for Venky Atluri’s film

Dulquer Salmaan is teaming up with filmmaker Venky Atluri for his next outing, Lucky Baskhar. The actor revealed the promising first-look poster for the film on social media today.

Dulquer Salmaan, the popular star of Malayalam cinema, completed 12 years in the film industry today. The charming actor, who is best known for his versatile characters and exceptional film choices, has earned a strong fan base across the globe with his recent outings. As you may know, Dulquer Salmaan is now set to team up with popular Telugu director Venky Atluri for his next outing, Lucky Baskhar.

The highly anticipated project, which is primarily being made in Telugu, is set to have a pan-Indian release in four more languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi. Dulquer Salmaan, who completed 12 years in cinema treated his fans to the first-look poster of Lucky Baskhar on the special occasion.

The highly anticipated Venky Atluri directorial, which is touted to be a period thriller, features Dulquer Salmaan as the central character, Baskhar. The popular star is seen sporting a retro avatar in a light blue polka-dotted shirt, his signature semi-long hairdo, and a pair of thick-framed spectacles. The leading man, who is reportedly playing the role of a bank cashier in the film, is seen sitting against a backdrop of several currency notes.

“Celebrating twelve years of my magical journey in Cinema, here’s presenting the first look poster of our very ambitious #LuckyBhaskar,” wrote Dulquer Salmaan, who shared the first look poster on his official Instagram handle.

Director Venky Atluri, on the other hand, shared the first look poster on his official handles and wrote, “Here’s the first look of our ambitious #LuckyBhaskar! Story unfolds in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil & Hindi at the theatres near you, soon!”

All about Lucky Baskhar

Guntur Kaaram actress Meenakshi Chaudhary is set to play the female lead opposite Dulquer Salmaan in Lucky Baskhar. The makers have not revealed the rest of the star cast of the film yet. GV Prakash Kumar composes the songs and original score for the project. Nimish Ravi is the director of photography. The project is bankrolled by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, under the banners Sithara Entertainments, Srikara Studios, and Fortune Four Studios.
