Dulquer Salmaan and director Venky Atluri just dropped the teaser of the much-anticipated drama, Lucky Baskhar, and it is already going viral. Choosing this special date of Eid seems to be working well for the makers. Although Dulquer Salmaan has portrayed various characters such as romantic heroes and cop roles in movies, this time, his journey to become a business tycoon is going to be interesting to watch.

The film was announced in February, and within 2 months, the makers dropped the teaser, wherein it introduces Dulquer as Baskhar, an ordinary cashier at the fictional Magadha Bank. The teaser showcases his middle-class lifestyle, how he gets ready for his office every day, and spending the rest of the day counting money for people. Later, the teaser shockingly changes the tone, capturing Baskhar’s unexpected wealth, leaving people in the film, as well as the netizens wondering how he earned this hefty amount.

No matter how little they get to see in the teaser, netizens are already super excited for Dulquer Salmaan. Some couldn't stop praising his script choices on YouTube, with one user writing, “I didn't expect this kind of film from Venky Atluri.” Others are simply amazed to watch his acting skills. Some even recalled his 2022-hit Sita Ramam, and urged Dulquer to work with Mrunal Thakur once again. Most of them flooded the comments section, sharing their blessings and love for Lucky Baskhar, hoping to be a blockbuster.
Some of them even pointed out that when most of the Bollywood actors are busy choosing big-budget and commercial films, Dulquer Salmaan is choosing quality content.

Meenaakshi Chaudhary has been cast opposite Dulquer Salmaan. Seems like we will also get to watch a beautiful love story during Baskhar’s journey.
