After stealing hearts with his charming villainous role in Strong Girl Nam-Soon (2023), Byeon Woo-Seok is back with Lovely Runner. This time, the 32-year-old actor will be portraying a teenage schoolboy, Ryn Sun-Jae. Woo-Seok is one of the most beloved Korean actors in the world. With 20th Century Girl (2022), he achieved immense popularity overnight. His chemistry with Kim Yoo-Jung is still cherished by fans.

Story of Lovely Runner

Lovely Runner tells the extraordinary story of Im Sol, who wants to become a famous director. However, a cruel twist of fate changes her life. A devastating accident leaves her paralysed, shattering her dreams. Yet, Sol finds solace and a flicker of hope in the music of the charismatic idol, Ryu Sun-Jae. But just as Sol begins to rebuild her spirit, tragedy strikes again. Sun-Jae is tragically taken away in an accident, leaving Sol utterly depressed.

However, the universe works in mysterious ways. Sol awakens inside a school classroom. But this isn't just any classroom! It's kind of Im Sol’s past, fifteen years to be exact. Soon after realising the gravity of the situation, Sol perceives it as a divine intervention, a golden opportunity for her.  She makes a vow to change her fate, not just for herself, but for Sun-Jae as well. This sets the stage for a whirlwind adventure filled with love, second chances, and the shocking endeavour of altering their tragic past.
