Seung-hyo proposed to Seok-ryu and now, their journey towards love begins on Love Next Door
Jung Hae-in’s Seung-hyo has proposed to Jung So-min’s Seok-ryu on Love Next Door. Years later, he has confessed that he’s in love with her. What Seung-hyo doesn’t know, is that Seok-ryu is as much in love with him, if not more. However, she plays hard to get, especially with her ex-fiance still in the picture. Here’s what will happen in the eighth episode of the K-Drama streaming on Netflix…
After his love confession, Seung-hyo wonders how he would face Seok-ryu the next day. He peeps into her house (she is his neighbour) and knows that she's not asleep. "If you've drawn the knife, you should cut something," he thinks to himself.
At the same time, Seok-ryu peeps into Seung-hyo's house and immediately draws the curtains. She is flustered after the confession.
Seok-ryu's mother asks her why she isn't she wearing her regular t-shirt and is in a pretty white dress instead, and Seok-ryu says the t-shirts are gone. The mother realizes Seok-ryu even has perfume on.
Seok-ryu meets Seung-hyo eventually and asks him if there's no expiration date on her (to give an) answer. In the very next scene, the viewers get to know, as Seok-ryu thinks, that she was the one who fell for him first.
Dong-jin (Lee Seung-hyub) has always had an awkward interaction with Mo-eum (Kim Ji-eun). This time, it looks like she is falling for him slightly more.
Meanwhile, Seok-ryu's ex-fiance still tries to pursue her. He has gone back to how they behave at the start of their relationship. At the same time, Seung-hyo is convinced that he can't stay friends with Seok-ryu and the reason isn't because she's a girl, but because she's Seok-ryu.
It will be interesting to note whether Seok-ryu will be able to reciprocate her feelings for Seung-hyo out loud by accepting his confession in this very episode. The second leads are also heading towards a path where they could end up together sooner than expected, now that Dong-jin’s daughter is also fond of Seok-ryu’s BFF Mo-eum. The episode will release at 8.30 pm in India today.
