Love, Death + Robots is coming back for another season of captivating stories ranging across the dramatic and the bizarre. The third season of the popular anthology series starts streaming this month.
What is Love, Death + Robots about?
Love, Death + Robots is an anthology series consisting of short stories ranging across different genres, including fantasy, horror, science fiction, comedy, action and more. Each standalone episode touches upon at least one or more of the themes mentioned in the title. Most of the standalone stories feature grim, pessimistic endings and have different animation styles.The different episodes are helmed by different directors.
While the first two seasons consisted of 18 and 8 episodes each, the upcoming third season will include 9 episodes. The episode titles for the new season are Three Robots: Exit Strategies, Bad Travelling, The Very Pulse of The Machine, Night of the Mini Dead, Kill Team Kill, Swarm, Mason's Rats, In Vaulted Halls Entombed, and Jibaro.
For the first time in the show’s history, the new season will also include a sequel, of the episode Three Robots from season one.

The directors of this season include Patrick Osborne(Three Robots: Exit Strategies), David Fincher(Bad Travelling), Emily Dean(The Very Pulse Of The Machine), Robert Bisi and Andy Lyon(Night of the Mini Dead), Jennifer Yuh Nelson(Kill Team Kill), Tim Miller(Swarm), Carlos Stevens(Mason’s Rats), Jerome Chen(In Vaulted Halls Entombed) and Alberto Mielgo(Jibaro). Fincher helms his first ever animation project with Bad Travelling. John Scalzi, Philip Gelatt, Bisi, Lyon, Miller, Joe Abercrombie and Mielgo are the writers.
