Director Shashank, who is known for presenting romantic tales, returns to his favourite genre with Love 360. The filmmaker is set to introduce Praveen as a new hero in Kannada cinema, paired with Love Mocktail fame Rachana Inder in the film that will release soon. Earlier today, Shashank, who is also producing the film under his banner Shashank Cinemass, released the trailer of the film, which he says is a story of the lengths one will to safeguard love.

“The core of Love 360 is the love story, and how far a couple will go to safeguard it. It’s about unconditional love and standing by each other through thick and thin; hence the title, which signifies that all angles of love have been explored. However, the film is not only about the love story and involves a crime as well, which will bring in some intense moments in the narrative,” Shashank had told OTTplay earlier. The trailer, today, elaborates on this as the hero goes all out to protect Jaanu, the girl of his dreams, who, appears to be having mild mental disability, but is for the rest of the world ‘mental’.

According to the trailer, it also seems that Jaanu is either a victim or a witness of a crime, which explains the sequence of her being questioned about what transpired on the beach. Shot predominantly in the coastal areas of Gokarna, principal photography of Love 360 was completed way back in January. Beside Praveen and Rachana, the film also stars Gopalkrishna Deshpande as the police officer investigating the crime and Danny Kuttappa as the chief antagonist. Shashank had earlier said that he was looking at having the film ready for release by April, and looks like he is more or less on schedule. The filmmaker, though, has not announced a release date, considering that a stack of films are already lined up for the next several weeks and that there are fears of an impending fourth wave of the pandemic.
