Renowned filmmaker Hansal Mehta is back with another interesting web series titled Lootere. After releasing the intriguing teaser of the show the makers have finally released the much-awaited trailer of the show today. The show has earned the title of 'pirate-themed series' earlier.

The thriller show stars Rajat Kapoor, Amruta Khanvilkar, Vivek Gomber, and Aamir Ali in the lead roles. The show centers around Rajat's character who is a captain of a ship and is battling with his criminal past. The compelling show, which is directed by Jai Mehta gives us a sneak peek into the world of survival where the characters are navigating a lethal web of crimes. Produced by Shailesh R Singh and director, and writer Hansal Mehta, the show promises to take us to the twisted world of crime of Pirates and ransom in the middle of the sea.

Speaking about Lootere, Hansal Mehta said that the show stands out for its setting in the sea and its enormous canvas. "With this show, our attempt is to bring a story of power and greed spiraling into an international hijacking crisis and the attempts of the crew to escape it. The story is bound to take the audience on an emotional as well as a thrilling adventure. Working with Jai in his capacity as an independent director and collaborating with Disney+ Hotstar for the first time has been nothing but a terrific experience," he added.
Scheduled to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on March 22, Lootere is directed by Jai Mehta and features a talented cast including Rajat Kapoor, Amruta Khanvilker, Aami Ali, and Vivek Gomber. Director and writer Hansal Mehta serves as the showrunner while it is produced and created by Shailesh R Singh under the banner of Karma Media and Entertainment.
