Looop Lapeta new poster: Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin look confused, trailer to be out today

Netflix dropped the poster of its heist comedy thriller Looop Lapeta. The upcoming movie stars Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin in the lead roles. The story of the film follows a young woman who sets out to rescue her boyfriend, while the unexpected turn of events changes their lives forever.

The latest poster features the leading duo in quite a colourful avatar, where both of them are surrendering themselves to someone. The OTT giants shared the image with a quirky caption that reads, “Iss loop ke lapete ne toh humein confuse hi kardiya hai! We heard you and aapka hukum sar aankhon par. The trailer drops tomorrow Looop Lapeta, a Sony Pictures Films India Feature and Ellipsis Entertainment Production, starring @taapsee and @tahirrajbhasin directed by @bhatiaaakash, coming on 4th Feb, only on Netflix (sic).”

Taapsee, who plays the character named Savi, said in a recent statement that she is happy to be a part of Netflix’s upcoming film with such a broad genre. While Tahir, who is essaying Satya, mentioned that he is extremely pleased to be a part of Looop Lapeta.

The forthcoming movie, which is a Hindi remake of Tom Tykwer's acclaimed German film Run Lola Run, marks the directorial debut of Aakash Bhatia. Talking about his first feature film, the director said in a statement.

Bankrolled by Aayush Maheshwari along with Sony Pictures Films India and Ellipsis Entertainment, the comedy thriller movie also features The Family Man fame Shreya Dhanwanthary in a pivotal role alongside Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Rajendra Chawla, K.C. Shankar essaying supporting characters. Looop Lapeta is slated to have a digital premiere on February 4.
