London Files: Actor Arjun Rampal says his character of a detective in the series affected him personally

Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal, who is all busy gearing up for the release of his upcoming thriller series "London Files", recently opened up about his character 'Om Singh'. Rampal plays Singh who is a homicide detective and takes on the case of a person who goes missing in the city of London, amidst a political power struggle.

According to The Bombay Times, Arjun excitedly talked about his character and said, "My character, Om Singh is a real person at heart. He is anything but a perfect person, and is real, flawed, hurt and alone, all at the same time." He went on to confess that the character's journey affected him personally and has made a deeper impact on him personally, "a lot more" than he had expected.

Carried on by the flow, Rampal also shared his thoughts as to what helps him perform the best while playing a detective. He said one becomes a skeptical person while playing a detective as everything revolves around evidence and joins the dots to find the truth. “So your mind automatically begins to think in that manner. It has a major impact on how you see things and changes your perspective towards life," he added.

For Rampal, stepping into a detective's shoe has made him detach from people as he doesn't believe anything immediately without any research and now views things objectively rather than emotionally.

Meanwhile, Rampal will also be seen in the Telugu movie, Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
