Loki season 1 finale sets the stage for Doctor Strange as Tom Hiddleston will reprise his role.
Tom Hiddleston is all set to reprise his role as Loki in the upcoming Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness movie, which wrapped up filming earlier this year, according to reports.
The events of the finale of Loki’s season one set the stage for the upcoming film that has Benedict Cumberbatch reprising his role as Doctor Strange. The God of Mischief will be joining Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff aka the Scarlet Witch. It has not been revealed yet if Wanda will be in the role of the Sorcerer Supreme or an ally.
Before reprising his role in Doctor Strange, Benedict Cumberbatch will be seen in Spiderman: No Way Home, maybe giving us a glimpse into the multiverse with previous Spidermen, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire are rumoured to be returning.
Loki’s season one finale also introduced MCU’s famed villain, Kang the Conqueror, essayed by Jonathan Majors. He will be appearing in Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in February 2023.
Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness has an interesting lineup of characters which reportedly also includes Maguire and Xochitl Gomez, who will be essaying the role of Miss America. Gomez is famous for her role in The Baby Sitters Club as Dawn Schafer. Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong and Chiwetel Ejiofor are set to reprise their roles. The Sam Raimi directorial’s script has been written by Loki’s head writer, Michael Waldron.
Loki season one is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
