The movie, which boasts an ensemble cast including Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Priya Anand, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and others, promises to be a cinematic extravaganza produced on a grand scale. Lokesh Kanagaraj has taken great care to safeguard the sanctity of the project, and Leo is set to expand the cinematic universe of drug lords and heroic spies created by the talented director.
This marks the second collaboration between Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj after the blockbuster hit 'Master,' further heightening expectations for Leo. The filmmaker described it as a "100 per cent Lokesh movie," indicating that he has had the freedom to create the film he envisioned after the success of 'Vikram,' starring Kamal Haasan.
Lokesh had previously hinted that Leo would follow in the footsteps of Kaithi , presenting a non-stop action thriller that deviates from the conventional template of Vijay movies, often known for dance numbers and romantic sequences. His latest comments re-emphasize his commitment to offering a fresh cinematic experience with 'Leo,' reiterating that the movie will stand apart from the typical Vijay films.
Leo is due in cinemas on October 19.
