Kangana Ranaut is all set to make her OTT debut with the reality show called Lock Upp. The show is backed by TV czarina Ekta Kapoor. This will be the first time when Kangana hosts a show, that too for her OTT debut.

Lock Upp will start streaming on AltBalaji. Viewers can simultaneously catch it on MX Player. The reality show will be available from February 27. The viewers can stream the show live 24x7.

Is the concept similar to Bigg Boss?

At the face of it, yes. Various contestants will be locked up and have to survive for 72 days. With Bigg Boss, it is over 100 days. The contestants on this show are well-known celebrities too. However, Ekta has promised that Lock Upp is not inspired by any international show and thus, this show might just have something new in its kitty.

Kangana Ranaut has come on board as the host on Lock Upp. It is for the first time that Kangana has taken up hosting a show. She will also have the power to eliminate or keep a contestant, something that Bigg Boss doesn’t follow.

Who are the contestants on the show?

According to reports, Sushmita Sen’s ex-boyfriend Rohman Shawl, Bigg Boss 13 famed contestant Shehnaaz Gill and Poonam Pandey have been finalized for the show. Various other names like Urfi Javed, Mallika Sherawat and Anushka Sen are reportedly being approached for the show. However, there is no confirmation on the same.

Where is the teaser and trailer of the show?

Ekta has recently revealed that the teaser of the show will be out on February 11. There is still time for the trailer of the show but the teaser will definitely give the viewers more clarity about Lock Upp.
