Designer Saisha Shinde, who designed Miss Universe winner Harnaz Sandhu's gown for the pageant, opened up about having an abusive partner on the recent episode of Lock Upp to Poonam Pandey and Payal Rohatgi.
According to Times of India Shinde said, "Even I was abused in a relationship but it wasn't physical, it was mental abuse on another level. He made me feel like I am sh*t. He used to stand outside my door and just wait thinking that someone will come and I'll cheat on him." Shinde added that her boyfriend used to spy on her from the terrace, or by climbing the pipeline to find out whether she was masturbating.
Rohatgi asked why this was a problem, to which Shinde said that her ex thought that was why she did not want to get physically intimate with him. She said that she thought her ex was right but she was unhappy in the relationship.
Shinde said she used to wonder what was it that she just could not figure out about the situation. "...because I was a woman inside who was having sex with a gay man. Obviously something was wrong but I told myself that I am gay only."
Previously, Shinde has dressed Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sunny Leone, Shraddha Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar.
Lock Upp is hosted by Kangana Ranaut, and marks her digital debut. The show is streaming on ALTBalaji and MX Player.
