Lock Upp the first reality show hosted by Kangana Ranaut, is said to have crossed 100 million views since it premiered on ALTBalaji and MXPlayer on February 17.

Ekta Kapoor took to Instagram to share that the show had reached this milestone in views. Karan Kundrra, who is the jailor on the show, commented on the post: “nufff saidd!!! Jai mata Di (sic).”
Ranaut also celebrated this development, according to IANS. "100MN views in 19 days is just incredible and I am overwhelmed with the love and affection that Lock Upp is receiving from the viewers. This proves that the concept of the show is unique and highly entertaining," she said.
"The views on the show are proof that Ekta Kapoor's vision has once again hit bullseye, and that along with the huge reach that MX Player reveals that together, they know the audience pulse better than anyone else on OTT. Lock Upp is only going to get bigger and more fearless from this point on," she added.
While Lock Upp has gained popularity for its concept and Ranaut’s presence, it had landed in legal trouble right before its premiere was approaching. A Hyderabad-based businessman had alleged that the makers of Lock Upp had plagiarised his concept for a reality show titled The Jail which he had registered with the Screenwriters' Association in 2018.
Currently, there are 23 episodes of the show available to watch on both ALTBalaji and MXPlayer.
