Kangana Ranaut and Payal Rohatgi have been going loggerheads ever since Lock Upp commenced.
Kangana Ranaut, who has always gone neck-to-neck with Payal Rohatgi on Lock Upp, was actually praises for the actress this week. Kangana even went on to call Payal ‘hero of the week’. The host called out Poonam Pandey and Anjali Arora while doing so.
As always, Kangana took the inmates’ class on Judgement Day (Saturday). This time, she made a 360 degree by calling out Poonam and Anjali while praising Payal.
Kangana recalled the chakli making task when Payal was going to emerge as a villain but instead, became the hero thanks to how Poonam and Anjali behaved with her. The host called Poonam ‘gunda’ and Anjali ‘Mumbai’s dada’. For the uninitiated, when Payal tried to destroy the chaklis made by Team Blue, Anjali held her. Poonam followed suit and tried to intimidate Payal.
Payal lost her calm after Shivam broke Team Orange’s boxes where they could store their chaklis and send it to jailor Karan Kundrra. After his act, Poonam apologized to Team Orange but Ali Merchant and Chetan Hansraj ruined the base of the chakli (i.e. the chakli atta) and some chaklis too. Then, while Team Blue was packing their chaklis, Payal came back and tried to throw them away to break the chaklis. That is when Anjali and Poonam kept her at bay through physical force and intimidation.
After seeing repeated episodes with Payal, Kangana assured the actress that she and any other inmate, if cornered, will get support from the makers. Kangana said that guards will be dispersed on site and will stop the bullying.
Payal had been constantly arguing with Kangana and other inmates. However, she has grown from that and shown that she can surrender for her team and their win. Kangana praised Payal’s game and said that the actress did redeem herself. Hearing so, Payal folded her hands, thanked Kangana and almost broke down.
Payal had her biggest support in Babita Phogat, who called out anybody who tried to intimidate Payal. After she was evicted, Shivam has stood by Payal’s side and is often seen supporting her when nobody stands by Payal.
Do you think Payal can remain calm or will she bring her old, critical side out again? Do let us know through your comments.
