Lock Upp grand premiere written update: Kangana Ranaut-hosted show introduces controversial celebs such as Poonam Pandey and Karanvir Bohra

Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon enters the show to surprise Kangana and she eventually turns jailor.

Kangana Ranaut introduces Lock Upp in a grand manner. She is seen sitting on her throne already. The actress enters on Wakhra Swag from her and Rajkummar Rao's movie Judgementall Hai Kya. She takes a dig as soon as the show begins by stating that people who haven't spoken to her for five years are scared and calling her to stay on her good terms. The actress also said that 'nepotism' won't work in her jail. For the uninitiated, her nepotism comment created controversy with filmmaker Karan Johar.

Kangana then introduces comedian Munawar Faruqui by stating she never liked his jokes and found an ad funnier. The actress recalls the comedian's controversy. After the two converse, Sunil Pal joins the show. Munawar has an argument when Kangana compares the two. He recalls the content AltBalaji produces and states there wouldn't be a censor board if that was the case.

Kangana states the Lock Upp rules. Munawar gets to pick three items from his suitcase for his stay in the jail. He picks a t-shirt, a namaz cap and a mat.

Raveena Tandon enters the show as a surprise entry. While Raveena says Kangana is creating a storm, the actress says she has improved people's behaviour which makes Raveena cough. Raveena will be a jailor for one day.

We also get to see a glimpse of the Lock Upp sets, including the sleeping area, kitchen and washroom. Kangana says people could not get a curtain in the bathroom and tissue paper in the washroom.

Munawar enters Lock Upp and tells the guards he will make them laugh one day. He gets a deja vu. For the uninitiated, he has already been in jail thanks to his controversy.

The next contestant introduced is Swami Chakrapani Maharaj. He is accused of partying with gau mutra and cutting cow dung like a cake. Kangana is already fond of him but the media refuse to even call him Swami Ji.

Saisha Shinde is introduced as the next contestant. She talks about her sex change from a man to a woman transgender.

After that Poonam Pandey enters the show with a breathtaking dance performance on some peppy tracks including Doobey from Gehraiyaan. The actress talks about her work of making erotica and accepts all the allegations that were charged on her.

Then enters the wrestler turned politician Babita Phogat. She spoke about breaking stereotypes through the show.

The next contestant introduced is the actress-model, Sana Khan, who gets accused by one of the media personalities about her lip surgery.

Later, a few more famous personalities of the country enter the Kangana Ranaut led show including political analyst-activist Tehseen Poonawalla, actress Payal Rohatgi, Nisha Rawal, actor Kaaranvir Bohra and a few aspiring actors from the industry.

After all the contestants step inside the Lock Upp, a background voice tells them to work according to the rules of the show.

Kangana ends the grand premiere by revealing that like Raveena, different celebs will enter the show as jailors as the show progresses.
