Lock Upp Exclusive! Zeeshan Khan claims Payal Rohatgi brainwashed Azma Fallah into targeting his girlfriend, family

Zeeshan claims Azma Fallah's attacks on him came a week after Payal Rohatgi's Islamophobic comments against him.

Zeeshan Khan has accused Payal Rohatgi of brainwashing Azma Fallah into targeting his girlfriend and family. The actor, who was once a part of Kumkum Bhagya, told OTTplay that Payal told Azma that Zeeshan’s girlfriend and family are his ‘dukhti rag’ and so, they need to attack that. He stated that the incident happened right after Payal’s Islamophobic comments.

“It started becoming mental,” Zeeshan told us, adding, “Payal goes ahead and calls me a terrorist over a news topic that is not even related to Mumbai. It’s something being passed in Kerala. We were having a discussion over it. From the point of halal meat, you made it into something that it’s not. You called me a terrorist just because I’m a Muslim. You said that promoting halal meat is promoting acts of terrorism and that I promote acts of terrorism. ‘I am a terrorist. My religion is a religion of terrorists.’ I took all of that.”

He questioned how Payal wasn’t punished and even Munawar Faruqui felt like that was unfair. Zeeshan said, “Judgement Day comes. She didn’t have to apologize for anything. No apology, nothing. They said that they disown her statement and she’ll face the repercussions outside the jail. Fair enough. What punishment was given to her? Nothing. Only stripping of the leadership qualities. Even Munawar was like that’s not punishment enough. They then put her on the chargesheet. No punishment was given to her. We thought that people are watching.”

The actor then spoke about Azma’s attacks in detail and mentioned, “After that, Azma starts attacking me personally. She says that I beg and do things. I took it all (with a pinch of salt) and gave it back to her. After Payal and Azma became friends, the attacks became way more personal. Azma would say downright cheap things about my girlfriend and parents. She said my girlfriend is sleeping around with producers and directors to get work for me, once I go out I’m going to find my parents dead, my parents go and touch her parents’ feet while begging them for food. Are you kidding me? I still didn’t react.”

Zeeshan accused Payal of brainwashing Azma. He said, “Payal told Azma that it is my ‘dukhti rug’ (where it hurts the most) and she should play on that. Azma did exactly as she said.”

He then cited the example of how even Prince Narula lost his cool on Azma when she spoke about his wife Yuvika Chaudhary as well as Nora Fatehi on Kangana Ranaut’s show. “Continuously, when Prince came in and Azma told him two things about Yuvika (she made fun of Yuvika and Nora twice), Prince also lost his cool. He said that he would throw her out of the show without the makers opening the door if she said it again. A person like Prince also lost it in two mocks,” he said, adding, “Even if you are a patient person, you won’t take all of this more than five times. This is my guarantee to you. I took it for two weeks. In the first week, I was called a terrorist and the next two weeks, my mother and girlfriend were targetted. It was on a loop. From the time I woke up to the time I go to sleep, to the time I’m sitting on the dining table and to the time I even pass her.”
