Lock Upp: Ekta Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut's tasks spark chaos in jail

Ekta praises Payal Rohatgi and calls her a 'badass' contestant.

The newest episode of Lock Upp saw Ekta Kapoor accompanying Kangana Ranaut to speak with the 'kaidis' on judgement day. Her presence made the episode more enjoyable. She introduced the candidates to a job that resulted in some terrible battles in the jail.

The task required the participants to give each other presents from a limited number of goods offered. These contained a snake, a brain, a spine, and other little items. Munawar Faruqui chose a 'karela' for Payal Rohatgi during the task. He added as he presented it to her that she is as bitter as a bitter guard. He also referred to her as 'keechad.' Munawar continued by explaining that Payal has a 'kadwi zubaan.' He criticised her for overstepping her boundaries in chats and irritating the other person. "Ye zubaan ke saath winner nahi ban sakte," he says. "Badass hona zaruri hai, likeable hona zaruri hai," he explained.

This upset Payal, who stood up and said he had no right to decide whether or not she should win the show. She called him a "crazy" person and reminded him of the time he slapped himself.

Following this, the two had a verbal exchange in which Munawar expressed his concerns to Kangana and Ekta, stating that he can take things to a limit but cannot accept anything that exceeds it.

While Munawar and Payal continued to dispute, Anjali Arora, the former's friend, intervened to fight for him. Payal was enraged by Munawar's meddling in their quarrel and insulted her for being exploited for many jobs. She continued by calling her a "doormat" and said, "Tu bas kapde dho." During the conversation, Anjali made fun of Payal and her connection with Sangram Singh. Munawar, on the other hand, urged her to remain cool and warned her not to become involved in the situation.

Ekta Kapoor previously complimented Payal while later the 36 China Town actress received the most unpleasant presents throughout the task. The TV czarina declared Payal her favourite and the most badass Lock Upp participant.

The filmmaker applauded the competitor for remaining strong and loyal to her ideas while alone in jail. Furthermore, Payal's name was the top on Ekta's list of contenders who may make it to the finale.
