Sangram Singh’s name was linked with Payal Rohatgi once again on Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp. Anjali Arora brought his name up this time. The last time Mandana Karimi entered Lock Upp and spoke about #SaveSangram.

Anjali spoke about Sangram because of Payal’s tiff with Munawar Faruqui. During a recent task on Lock Upp, all contestants had to gift their kaidis some prop. Munawar gifted Payal bittergourd.

While doing so, he said that while being badass in the jail is important, it is also important to be likeable. He said that while the karela is good for health, nobody likes it.

Payal tried to question Munawar on his opinion. The comedian then lost it on the actress and screamed, “Abbe, chup!”

Seeing the whole scenario play out, Anjali said, “Sangram ji.” That is when Payal lost it on Anjali and asked her not to bring ‘Sangram ji’ in the middle. Calling Anjali a piece of shit, she asked the Kacha Badam reel famed Anjali to figure out her ‘shit’ with Munawar.

In the same episode, Ekta had called Payal her favourite contestant, while stating that she is badass. Thus, this was Munawar’s way of giving it back to Payal and Ekta’s thought process.

It was also recently revealed that Munawar is actually a married man and has a son with his ex-wife too. Soon enough, Poonam Pandey declared that Munawar has been giving hints to Anjali. Ever since, the kaidis have called Anjali the ‘temporary girlfriend’ Munawar is using for the game.
