Coolie

Kader Khan wrote the script, and Manmohan Desai directed the 1983 action comedy film Coolie. Amitabh Bachchan portrays Iqbal Aslam Khan, a railway coolie, whose mother Salma (Waheeda Rehman) separates him from Zafar (Kader Khan) due to his fascination with her. This preoccupation leads to both her own and her family's mental collapse. Years later, destiny unites Salma's sons, Iqbal and Sunny (Rishi Kapoor), as they set out on a mission to save their mother from Zafar's grasp. The film also featured Puneet Issar, Suresh Oberoi, Shoma Anand, and Rati Agnihotri.

Salma (Waheeda Rehman) and her father both object to the marriage between Zafar Khan, a rich businessman with criminal connections. In the near future, Zafar will be facing multiple charges that could land him a 10-year prison term. He finds out Salma's married to someone else when he gets back. Once he fails to persuade Salma to get a divorce, he destroys her husband and their child, Iqbal, by destroying a nearby dam and flooding the neighbourhood. This shock causes Salma to lose her memory, and Zafar marries her because he sees an opportunity. Additionally, he entrusts Salma with the care of an adopted boy he took from an orphanage. But when Iqbal (Amitabh Bachchan), the man Zafar harmed, confronts him years later, Sunny feels forced to reveal his transgressions as well. Here lies the beginning of the battle between honesty and deceit.

Deewaar

Salim-Javed (Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar) wrote the action-crime drama Deewaar which Yash Chopra directed. Shashi Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Neetu Kapoor, Parveen Babi, Nirupa Roy, Iftekhar, Madan Puri, Satyen Kappu, and Manmohan Krishna make for an ensemble cast. Following their father's naive ideals, the film follows two poor brothers as they fight for survival in the slums of Mumbai and, in the end, wind up on opposite sides of the law. Their brothers' separation during a period of social and political upheaval has created a wall between them, and the term Deewaar (wall) alludes to this phenomenon.

Dhamaal

Indra Kumar directed the 2007 comedy film Dhamaal starring Asrani, Sanjay Mishra, Murli Sharma, Vijay Raaz, Manoj Pahwa, Tiku Talsania, and Prem Chopra in supporting roles, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Aashish Chaudhary, and Javed Jaffrey in the key roles. The film serves as the Dhamaal franchise's pilot. The film follows four indolent con artists as they befriend a dying criminal, who reveals the whereabouts of a buried treasure.

Don

Directed by Chandra Barot and based on a story by Salim Javed, Nariman Irani produced the 1978 action thriller Don. In addition to Zeenat Aman, Pran, Iftekhar, Om Shivpuri, and Satyen Kappu, Amitabh Bachchan stars in the film as two separate characters. Indeevar and Anjaan wrote the lyrics, while Kalyanji-Anandji composed the music. As a spy in Don's gang and informant of Don's illicit dealings, D'Silva recruits Vijay, a simpleton who looks just like the infamous international criminal Don. However, D'Silva's passing significantly worsens the situation.

Dream Girl

Pramod Chakravorty directed Dream Girl in 1977, with Hema Malini in the titular role alongside Ashok Kumar, Dharmendra, and Prem Chopra. This film's casting was inspired by Hema Malini's portrayal of the Dream Girl in her debut film. Hema Malini plays five distinct roles in the film, all of which involve a young woman who steals money to support an orphanage. The characters she portrays are named Sapna, Padma, Champabai, Dream Girl, and Rajkumari.

Go Goa Gone

Go Goa Gone is a zombie action comedy that Raj and D.K. directed in 2013. Starring in the film are Anand Tiwari, Puja Gupta, Kunal Khemu, Saif Ali Khan, and Vir Das. In addition to being India's first zombie film, it also holds the distinction of being the country's first stoner flick. Two stoners named Hardik and Luv accompany their best friend Bunny on a business vacation to Goa. Luna, a carefree girl whom Luv meets, extends an exclusive invitation to an underground rave on an isolated island. Boris, a macho Russian mafioso, dreams up the party in order to release the ultimate party drug. On this island, though, things are not right! Unexpectedly, zombies surround them! What gave rise to these undead? And who is Boris, exactly? What gives this heartless drug dealer the will to come and rescue innocent people? They must escape from the diseased island as soon as possible. Now, are they?

Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar

Nasir Hussain produced and co-wrote Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, a 1992 coming-of-age sports film, while Mansoor Khan directed it. While Aamir Khan's brother Faisal Khan makes a special appearance, the film stars Ayesha Jhulka, Pooja Bedi, Deepak Tijori, Mamik Singh, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. The protagonist, a carefree young man, vows revenge on the person responsible for his brother's near-death experience in this film. He plans to accomplish this by preparing for the yearly inter-school bike race. He discovers his genuine friends, love, and dreams along the journey.

Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai

Rakesh Roshan wrote, directed, and produced the romantic action thriller musical Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai in 2000. His son, Hrithik Roshan, and Ameesha Patel both make their debuts in the film, which was not only a huge hit, but so was the soundtrack. In the film, Sonia and Rohit fall in love despite their initial animosity. After an accident leaves them on an island, they learn to value each other. However, things take a turn for the worse, and an accident claims Rohit's life. As a result of her inability to cope with the loss, Sonia relocates to New Zealand, where she meets Raj Chopra, who looks exactly like Rohit. Raj accompanies Sonia when she returns to India, as his likeness to Rohit continues to annoy her. But a police officer shoots Raj the moment they touch down in India. Both of them see that the cop is criticising Raj and claiming that Rohit's death was a murder because he thinks he is Rohit. When Raj offers to assist Sonia in discovering the truth about Rohit's death, events take a different course.

Karan Arjun

Rakesh Roshan both directed and produced Karan Arjun, a fantasy action masala film from 1995. The film's main actors included Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in the titular roles, along with Raakhee Gulzar, Mamta Kulkarni, and Kajol. Amrish Puri plays the primary adversary, with appearances from Johnny Lever, Arjun, Jack Gaud, Ranjeet, and Aasif Sheikh. The film follows the titular brothers as they exact revenge on their avaricious uncle for the death of their father. Tragically, their uncle takes their lives, and they reincarnate to exact their vengeance.
