Stree 2 - Rs. 597.99 crores

Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao's much-awaited Stree 2 was released this year and broke all records. The film provided much-needed entertainment with a message that connected with everyone.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 - Rs. 259.93 crores

Kartik Aaryan Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit-Nene came together with Triptii Dimri in what was to be one of the highest grossers of 2024. Clashing with Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 got a slight edge and became the second highest grosser of the year.

Singham Again - Rs. 247.77 crores

What happens when you have Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Tiger Shroff in Rohit Shetty's cop universe film? The movie becomes instantly intriguing, leading to one of the biggest openings and eventually, one of the highest grossing films of the year. Earning Rs. 247.77 crores, Singham Again ended up as the third-highest grossing film of 2024.

Fighter - Rs. 212.79 crores

Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's much-awaited film finally released this year, and being a Siddharth Anand directorial after Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, the movie was bound to leave viewers captivated. With Rs. 212.79 crores, Fighter became the highest-grossing film to release in the first half of 2024.

Shaitaan - Rs. 148.21 crores

Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan came together in a horror movie that brought Vikas Bahl's vision to light. Shaitaan, an adaptation of the Gujarati film Vash (also starring Janki Bodiwala), was one of the most loved movies of the year. The proof of it is the Box Office collection of Rs. 148.21 crores.

Munjya - Rs. 102.54 crores

Coming from the Maddock Supernatural Universe, Munjya was one of the pleasant surprises of 2024. Starring Sharvari and Abhay Varma in the lead roles, Munjya became one of the highest grossing films of the year after entering Rs. 100 crore club.

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya - Rs. 85.16 crores

The unique concept of Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's film surely came across and that translated in Box Office numbers. Kriti Sanon playing a robot was something that viewers especially loved.

Crew - Rs. 81.95 crores

After a long wait, a movie featuring only women in power came to the big screens and it did not disappoint. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon-starrer Crew was a fun ride that all wanted to take this year.

Article 370 - Rs. 78.12 crores

Yami Gautam made her comeback to films and how! She took the internet by storm when confirming her pregnancy during the trailer launch of Article 370. When the common man learned that Yami has reunited with her husband Aditya Dhar after URI (he is the producer for this film), the excitement was already high. The subject, one that has been calling contrasting views since a while, opened up a debate once again on its release. PM Modi praising the movie added to viewers coming to theatres to watch the movie.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan - Rs. 65.97 crores

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff came together for Ali Abbas Zafar's version of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (the original was a David Dhawan directorial starring Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda) and fans were extremely excited to see how the Tiger Zinda Hai director shaped up the film. The movie took a massive Box Office opening, which gave it way on the list of top 10 Box Office grossers of 2024.
