Gargi

Director: Gautham Ramachandran

Cast: Sai Pallavi, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Kaali Venkat, and Kalaimaamani Saravanan

The young teacher at the centre of the story comes from a loving family. When her father, a security guard, is wrongly accused of a crime, things take a turn for the worse. Pallavi portrays the protagonist who is trying to get her father justice. She is willing to go to any lengths to make it happen. She must, however, make the hardest choice of her life in the end.

Kadaisi Vivasayi

Cast: Vijay Sethupathi, Yogi Babu and Nallandi

The village in Kadaisi Vivasayi is plagued by drought, and the farmers there have sold their land to seek other sources of income. Following a series of unfortunate incidents, the villagers choose to offer paddy from the first harvest of the season as a sacrifice in a ritual to the village deity. The only remaining farmer in the village, Maayaandi, is tasked with cultivating paddy. However, when a case is filed against him for poaching, the situation changes.

Cast: Rohini, Shraddha Srinath and Shanmugharajan

It centres on the relevant subject of manual scavenging. Rohini portrays the irate mother of the youngster who passes away after engaging in the repugnant profession for a while. The movie's plot revolves around a young woman, played by Shraddha, who battles an unjust system to bring her mother's case to justice.

Cast: Andrea Jeremiah, Azhagam Perumal and Aadhav Kannadasan

A sexual assault survivor's journey, in which she battles the attackers by overcoming her inner demons and trauma. But with all the social criticism and a leaked footage, it's not an easy journey.
