Ranbir Kapoor's film Rajneeti became a commercial success upon its release on June 4, 2010. The film, directed by Prakash Jha also starred Katrina Kaif, Arjun Rampal, and Manoj Bajpayee and is a political drama. It emerged as the fourth highest-grossing Indian film of 2010. The story of the film revolves around Janardhan who aspires to become a Rockstar and believes only a heartbreak can lead him into becoming one.
