Ranbir Kapoor's film Rajneeti became a commercial success upon its release on June 4, 2010. The film, directed by Prakash Jha also starred Katrina Kaif, Arjun Rampal, and Manoj Bajpayee and is a political drama. It emerged as the fourth highest-grossing Indian film of 2010. Today, the film completed 14 years of its theatrical release. The story of the film revolves around Janardhan who aspires to become a Rockstar and believes only a heartbreak can lead him into becoming one. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil on Netflix

The story of the film revolves around love and friendship. When Ayan (Ranbir) falls in love with Alizeh (Anushka Sharma), she explains to him that she can only be his friend. Getting into the complex emotions of love and longing, Ayan turns into a big musician but the pain of not getting Alizeh's love kills him inside every day and he questions his entire identity. The film, directed by Karan Johar was a hit when it was released in theatres.

Sanju on Netflix

Ranbir proved his acting prowess in the film Sanju, which is the life story of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. The film takes us to the rollercoaster life story of success, failures, jail, drugs, and everything that happened in the actor's life which is masterfully portrayed by Ranbir. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Sonam Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal, among others, and is directed by Rajkumar Hirani.

Barfi on Netflix

Directed by Anurag Basu, Barfi stars Ranbir, Ileana D'Cruz, and Priyanka Chopra. Upon release, the film was appreciated for the performances, the storyline as well as the direction. The story of the film revolves around Barfi, who is mute and dumb. He has a special bond with Jhilmil (Priyanka), a girl with autism, and chooses her over everything. This beautiful film is also regarded as one of Ranbir's best works.
