In order to save his family and what rightfully belongs to him, the husband has to take the route of violence.

If you had liked Viduthalai Part 2, then you would have already liked the first part, Viduthalai Part 1. The period action-drama took the first step to show Soori as a protagonist. While the actor plays a newly appointed cop who is tasked with the capture of leader of people’s movement. The first part stars Gautham Menon, Rajiv Menon, Chetan, Bhavani Sre and others. Viduthalai was screened at the Rotterdam International Film Festival and has music by Ilaiyaraaja.

Aadukalam – SunNXT

However, the film delves into the intricate and political world of rooster fights, through the eyes of Karuppu who ventures into activity. The film bagged six National Film Awards in 2010, including Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Actor.

Polladhavan marks Vetrimaaran's directorial debut. The cast of the film includes Dhanush, Ramya, Daniel Balaji, Kishore, Chetan and others. The film is about a particular bike theft incident that changes the life of a young man who owns the vehicle.

Visaranai – Netflix

Visaranai is a crime drama film, which is adapted from Lock Up novel penned by M Chandrakumar. The star cast includes Dinesh, Anandhi, Samuthirakani, Aadukalam Murugadoss, Kishore, Pradheesh Raj, and Silambarasan Rathnasamy, among others. A film that talks about police brutality, Visaranai delves into the unethical practises police take up to probe two men.

Vada Chennai – SonyLIV

Vada Chennai is a gangster action drama starring Dhanush, Ameer, Samuthirakani, Andrea Jeremiah, Aishwarya Rajesh, and others. Set against the backdrop of the northern suburbs of Chennai, the film revolves around a skilled carrom player who gets caught between the world of crime and deceit, and the local gangsters, which forces him to take action by getting his hands dirty. Vada Chennai was highly praised for its performances and non-linear narrative. With the film ending on a note teasing the sequel, fans of Vetrimaaran have been quizzing the actor as to when the second part will arrive.
