Mr. India (ZEE5)
The story follows Arun, the guardian of orphaned children, who gets threatened by a gangster named Mogambo, seeking his house. After a tragic loss, Arun uses his father's invisible watch and gets hailed as ‘Mr. India’ as he fights back and gets revenge. Sridevi was seen as the love interest of Mr. India. Released in 1987, this film was the first to use practical visual effects in India, especially in depicting Mr. India's invisibility.
Nagina (Prime Video)
This film earned Sridevi immense appreciation for her portrayal of a Nagina (a shape-shifting serpent). The story follows a wealthy man Rajiv, who marries Rajni out of love. But the twist begins when snake-catcher Bhairon Nath informs Rajiv’s mother that Rajni is actually a shape-shifting serpent, and not a human. This makes Rajiv’s mother take the drastic step of exposing her and saving her son. Sridevi had played the role of Rajni.

This film is one of the most celebrated musical dramas of Sridevi. Songs like ‘Mere Hathon Mein Nau Nau churiyan’, ‘Chandni O Meri Chandni’, and ‘Lagi Aaj Sawan Ki’ are still popular. The story follows Chandni, a simple young woman, whose life turns upside down when her fiancée Rohit gets paralyzed in a brutal accident and vanishes from her life. Later in Mumbai, her boss Lalit falls for her, but Rohit unexpectedly returns and tries to rekindle their love.

This film is regarded as a landmark romantic classic in Indian cinema, celebrated for its storyline, impeccable direction, melodious songs, and stunning cinematography. This is the first time Sridevi was seen in a dual role— as both mother and daughter. The story follows Viren, a wealthy man, who secretly loves Pallavi. Mom (ZEE5)
Released in 2017, this crime thriller is the last film of Sridevi. The story follows Devki, a dotting stepmother of Arya, who gets sexually assaulted. When the law fails to provide justice, Devki joins forces with private investigator DK to take the matter into her hand and get revenge against the acquitted rapists.
