Dulquer Salmaan is ready with his new film Lucky Baskhar that will be released on October 31, 2024. Venky Atluri has directed the film.
Lucky Baskhar is one of the most awaited films in Telugu cinema, starring Dulquer Salmaan and Meenakshi Chaudhary in lead roles. Venky Atluri directs the film, which has been produced by Sithara Entertainments. The makers have kick-started the promotions, and some interesting updates are being revealed by the team one after another.
A source from the team has revealed that Lucky Baskhar has references to The Wolf of Wall Street and Scam 92. The film deals with the banking sector and also has a stock market backdrop. Dulquer will be seen in the role of a banker who goes rogue to earn big money.

How all this connects to the stock market in the late '80s forms the basic story of the film. Dulquer Salmaan's character has a slightly negative touch as he becomes obsessed with money and lands in a lot of trouble. The source adds that the climax is designed in such a way that it will shock everyone.
Director Venky Atluri has not taken a safe route and has crafted an unconventional climax, according to the source. One of the film's biggest assets is the production design. A massive set, designed to resemble 1980s Mumbai, has been built, where the entire film was shot.
GV Prakash has composed the music, and his background score is reportedly going to be on another level. Naga Vamsi, the producer, is confident that Lucky Baskhar will impress everyone. In one of his interviews, he mentioned that if anyone finds mistakes in the film, he will personally meet them and clear their doubts.
Set for an October 31, 2024 release, Lucky Baskhar will also be available in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The makers have spent a fortune and have already sold the OTT rights for a massive price. Stay tuned for more updates.
