In 12 years of his acting career, Dulquer, son of veteran actor Mammootty, has majorly worked in Malayalam movies. In the Abhishek Sharma directorial venture, Dulquer played the role of a cricketer, Nikhil Khoda. He was seen as an Indian cricket captain in the movie. Apart from Dulquer and Sonam, the movie featured Angad Bedi, Sanjay Kapoor, Sikandar Kher, and others in supporting roles. R Balki's 2022 film Chup: Revenge of the Artist featured Dulquer Salmaan playing the role of a florist, Danny/Sebastian Games.
