Raghuvaran, the late actor, is one of iconic artists in Tamil cinema and has left behind a wonderful body of work. Raghuvaran had appeared in over 200 films and worked in the Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi industries. Yaaradi Nee Mohini is a 2008 Tamil film that was released as a posthumous film for Raghuvaran. The film starred Dhanush and the late actor as father and son, who have their differences but don't give up on each other. To honour Raghuvaran, Dhanush had named his character from the next film, VIP, as Raghuvaran. Yaaradi Nee Mohini is directed by Mithran Jawahar and also stars Nayanthara as the female lead and Saranya, Karthik Kumar, and Karunas in prominent roles.
Directed by Mani Ratnam, Anjali stars Raghuvaran and Revathy as the parents of two children. As they lead a happy life together, the woman gets to know that her third and stillborn child is in fact alive and growing up at a care centre. As the couple chooses to bring her home, it brews jealousy between the children, which then converts to sympathy after getting to know that their sibling is suffering from illness and is going to die soon.
En Bommukutty Ammavukku is a family drama directed by Fazil. It revolves around a couple who has just lost their child to an accident and decide to adopt a young girl after much apprehensions. While all goes well and the family of three begin to live happily, the birth father shows up, demanding custody of his daughter. The film stars Sathyaraj, Suhasini, Raghuvaran, Rekha and others.

Nerrukku Ner stars Vijay, Suriya, Raghuvaran, Kousalya, Simran and others. Directed by Vasanth, the film revolves around a divorced couple who share a daughter. After a threat approaches the child, the brothers of the couple must join hands, despite hating each other, for a common mission. The film marked Suriya's debut.

Baashha is a 1995 Tamil film directed by Suresh Krissna. The film stars Rajinikanth, Nagma, Raghuvaran, Janagaraj, Devan, Shashi Kumar, Vijayakumar, Anandaraj, Charan Raj, Kitty, Sathyapriya, Shenbaga and Yuvarani. It revolves around a simple auto driver who is hiding his gangster past in order to protect his family. Baashha became a commercial success and Raghuvaran's portrayal of antagonist Mark Antony became one of the iconic villains of Tamil cinema.
