Hrishikesh Mukherjee directed the 1973 musical drama, which starred Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Asrani, Bindu, and David. The 1970 Bengali film Bilambita Loy, starring Uttam Kumar and Supriya Devi, served as a loose inspiration for the movie. Ek Nazar (1972)

If one were to name three things that make Ek Nazar, which is directed by BR Ishara, better, they would be the music composed by the legendary Laxmikant-Pyarelal, the lyrics written by the poet of the highest caliber Majrooh Sultanpuri, and the outstanding performance of veteran actor Nadira. Every song is a masterpiece, even the title track Pyaar Ko Chahiye Kya, Ek Nazar, which features Kishore Kumar's vocals.

Annadata (1972)

Following the death of her father, a local doctor, Aarti (Jaya Bachchan) takes it upon herself to care for a paralyzed child named Kundan and dispense medication in addition to sewing clothes. Arun (Anil Dhawan) is a fan of hers who secretly adores her and wants to marry her despite the fact that he is only a painter and cannot support a family. Then an old man who is sick enters Aarti's life. She offers to take care of him until he recovers and leaves, but he stays because he has nowhere else to go. Then, as Arun brings the child's prosthetic legs, good fortune smiles upon them.

Naya Din Nai Raat (1974)

Despite her father's insistence, Sushma is determined not to get married, so she sets off on a wild adventure. She meets a transvestite actor, a feared bandit, a lonely widower, an inebriated brothel patron, a psychiatrist, a double-life priest-smuggler, a wealthy former leper, and a hunter who saves her from a lion. After a turbulent journey, she finally has a final meeting with someone that changes her life. Jaya Bachchan played the lead, while A Bhimsingh directed the movie.
