Mohabbat (1985)

Anil Kapoor and Vijayta Pandit star in this film that shows how Shekhar (Anil) approaches Roopa's (Vijayta) father with his parents after falling in love with her. However, when his stepmother asks Roopa's father for dowry, he vows to get his daughter married to someone else. The film throws light on the evils of dowry.

Rishtey (2002)

Anil Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, and Amrish Puri play key roles in director Indra Kumar's film. It is about Suraj (Anil Kapoor) and Komal (Karisma Kapoor), who get married despite the disapproval of their parents.
