Released in 2016, this English series tells a story about a futuristic amusement park called Westlworld in a dystopian era, where instead of animals, it has robots and AI machines that look and act just like humans. Visitors can come to this park and pretend they are living in the Old West. However, one day something goes wrong, and the robots begin to act strange and dangerous. They stop following rules and start doing things they weren't supposed to. The visitors soon find themselves trapped in a world where their own safety is threatened.

Released in 2009, this is the fourth installment of The Terminator film series. Starring Christian Bale and Sam Worthington, the movie follows John Connor, the leader of human resistance against Skynet, learns about a devastating creation, a highly advanced model of Terminator—T-800. These machines possess unimaginable strength, endurance, and intelligence, which can be a grave threat to mankind. Connor must reunite with his team to stop this newfound power that can be a common enemy.

Released in 1999, this is another epic sci-fi film series that garnered much popularity. It has also won an Oscar for its outstanding visual effects. Starring Keanu Reeves, the movie follows Neo, an ordinary programmer, who always felt a nagging sense of something uneasy around him. His suspicions are confirmed when a mysterious figure named Morpheus contacts him, offering a revelation that might change his life forever. Morpheus unveils a shocking truth about prison that is designed to control and enslave humanity. He also reveals about his rebellious team called The Matrix.

Pacific Rim Uprising (JioCinema)

This is the second installment of the 2013 original film—Pacific Rim. Released in 2018, the second part follows Jake Pentecost, the son of the legendary Jaeger pilot Stacker Pentecost, who abandons his training to become a pilot midway. However, when a new threat emerges, Jake has been pulled back into the world of giant robots. Joining with his sister and co-pilot Mako Mori, Jake must confront his past overcome the fears, and together they fight for humanity from going extinct.
