From the third season of Abhay to The King’s Man, here are five action shows or movies that are coming to OTT on Friday
There was a time when every Friday, moviegoers looked out for new movies to watch in theatres. Not much has changed, even when it comes to OTT. This Friday is packed with action and thrills, with a number of shows and movies ready to start streaming. From returning faces such as SP Abhay Pratap Singh (Abhay) to new action movies, here are five films and shows that are coming to a streaming platform on April 8.
Abhay Season 3 (ZEE5)
The first two seasons of Abhay have grabbed the attention of the fans. The show, which stars Kunal Kemmu in the lead, has been a fan-favourite since its first season started streaming in 2019. The third season of the investigative action thriller is set to start streaming on ZEE5 from April 8.
Ek Love Ya (ZEE5)
Ek Love Ya hit theatres on February 24 and did well at the box office, despite receiving mixed reviews. Starring Raanna and Reeshma Nanaiah in the lead, the movie has elements of romance, tragedy and revenge. With Raanna sporting three different looks, the movie starts streaming on ZEE5 from Friday.
Murder In Agonda (Amazon miniTV)
This five part show, which stars Shreya Pilgaonkar in the lead along with Asif Khan, Lillete Dubey, and Kubbra Sait, is a murder mystery. A murder has taken place at one of the most respected families in Goa, and the investigation is set to keep audiences on the edge of their seats. The first two parts of the show will be released on April 8, with new episodes every Friday.
The King’s Man (Disney+ Hotstar)
Directed by Matthew Vaughn, The King’s Man is the third installment in the Kingsman film series. With Ralph Fiennes in the lead, this spy action thriller is a prequel. The film follows the lead and events that take place during World War I, which leads to the formation of the Kingsman organization. The movie will start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar this Friday.
All the Old Knives (Amazon Prime Video)
Starring Chris Pine in the lead, the movie was described as a “love story and a whodunit”, by its director Janus Metz Pedersen. Also featuring Thandiwe Newton, Laurence Fishburne, and Jonathan Pryce, All the Old Knives follows two former spies and lovers looking into a job gone bad. The movie starts streaming on Amazon Prime Video on April 8.
