April is looking to be a great month for OTT content, as several shows across languages and genres are making their way to screens during the first week of the month. Be it animated, horror, comedy, crime and drama, the shows releasing this week covers them all. The highly awaited new seasons of shows like Gullak and Abhay are also making their way onto OTT this week as well.

Kick off the first week of April in style by bingeing on these upcoming TV releases:

Happiness: April 6 (Netflix)

Starring Han Hyo-joo, Park Hyung-sik, and Jo Woo-jin,Happiness is a South Korean television series set against the background of a zombie apocalypse. It follows the story of Yoon Sae-bom a police officer who moves to a new apartment to start a new chapter in her life, although the new chapter brings with it a new set of challenges as well.

Dirty Lines: April 8 (Netflix)

This Dutch series is set in 1980s Amsterdam and follows the true story of the first ever erotic phone line to be come into operation in Europe. The 6 episode series stars Joy Delima ,Minne Koole and Chris Peters.

Oddbods Season 3: April 1 (Netflix)

This animated TV series follows the adventures of seven colourful furry little creatures Fuse, Slick, Bubbles, Zee, Pogo, Jeff and Newt. The oddball oddbods try to make it through their odd little lives keeping out of trouble, which is easier said than done.

My Liberation Notes: April 9 (Netflix)

Starring Lee Min-ki, Kim Ji-won, Son Seok-koo, and Lee El, this South Korean series follows the story of three siblings, who struggle to escape the mundanity of their everyday life. When a stranger unexpectedly comes into their lives, it seems that their wish becomes granted.

Our Blues: April 9 (Netflix)

This Korean TV show revolves around the story of a group of people on an island called Jeju, all of whom are at different phases in their lives. The series takes viewers through their stories and their connections to the island.

Jimmy Savile: A British Horror Story: April 6 (Netflix)

This documentary series gives viewers a glimpse into the dark life of late English television personality Jimmy Savile, whose controversial past included hundreds of allegations of sexual assault, including on minors. The full extent of the allegations came to light after his death.

Green Eggs and Ham: Season 2: April 8 (Netflix)

This animated series is based on the popular children’s book of the same name, written by Dr. Seuss. The series follows the adventures of a group of people who embark on a road trip to help place a rare animal back into its natural habitat.

Murder in Agonda: April 8( Amazon MiniTV)

This murder mystery thriller follows the story of the investigation into the murder of a person belonging to a very influential family in Goa. Shriya Pilgaonkar, Aasif Khan, Kubbra Sait and Lillete Dubey star.

Luxe Listings Season 2: April 1(Amazon Prime Video)

This reality television series follows the adventures of four real estate agents who are tasked with navigating the tumultuous waters of property listings, to deliver the best results for their clients.

Gullak S3: April 7(Sony LIV)

This slice of life drama follows the lives of the Mishra family, as they deal with new chapters in their lives, as a family. It stars Jameel Khan,Geetanjali Kulkarni, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, Harsh Mayar and Shivankit Singh Parihar in pivotal roles.

A Life in Pictures: April 2(Sony LIV)

The series takes us through the narratives of some of the most prominent and popular female artists in Hollywood today, including Tilda Swinton, Keira Knightley, Helen Mirren, Viola Davis, Emma Thompson and more.

Abhay S3: April 8(ZEE5)

Detective Abhay Pratap Singh is back to tackle yet another gruesome case, bound to push his abilities to the limits. The new season stars Kunal Kemmu, Rahul Dev, Vijay Raaz, Tanuj Virwani,Asha Negi, Nidhi Singh, Rituraj Singh and Elnaaz Nourozi.

Gomorrah Season 5: April 1(Lionsgate Play)

This Italian crime drama is based on Roberto Saviano’s 2006 novel of the same name. The series follows the story of Ciro Di Marzio, a member of the Savastano Camorra clan, as he deals with the internal hierarchies within the clan, set against the backdrop of civil unrest.

Slow Horses: April 1(AppleTV+)

Starring Gary Oldman, Olivia Cooke,Jonathan Pryce,Kristin Scott Thomas and Jack Lowden in pivotal roles, Slow Horses is based on the novel of the same name written by Mick Herron. It follows the story of a group of dysfunctional intelligence agents, exiled to a department reserved for shunned agents, who happen upon an intriguing mystery.
