Lionsgate Play has announced an exciting deal called the BingePass, in which users will be provided unlimited access to its curated library for Rs 9. Available for a limited time period between August 5 and August 8, the pass will ensure a 30-day subscription on the OTT platform.

The brand has enlisted actress Ananya Panday for a quirky TVC to promote the offer, especially targeting the millennial audiences.

Rohit Jain, managing director of the South Asian division, expressed his delight at the press launch, on being able to provide such an offer at the low price point. Hoping for a phenomenal response from the audiences, he emphasised how Lionsgate will reach out to millions of new users, aiming to offer them the best of cinematic experience across diverse genres like drama, horror, action, romance, comedy and many more.

To increase its reach and leave its mark in the OTT market, Lionsgate Play has adopted a number of strategies. Regularly building up its library with edgy shows and movies along with thousands of hours of premium Hollywood content, the streaming service has brand new titles releasing every Friday and local content based on the audience preferences.

It also has the facility of exclusively handpicked playlists for the subscribers, like India’s Top 10, What Millennials are watching, Lionsgate Play Originals, Funny Side Up, Date Night and Bollywood Binge, to name a few.

With a widely-distributed network from partnerships with Vodafone Idea, Bharti Airtel and Jio FTTH, to Apple TV+ and Amazon Firestick, Lionsgate Play has an ambitious roadmap ahead, and currently consists of content in six local languages of Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Bhojpuri, along with English.
