Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai:

Let's first talk about the recent release which became the talk of the town. Manoj Bajpayee's most recent film, Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai is a courtroom drama based on real-life incidents. The movie features Manoj Bajpayee as real-life lawyer PC Solanki, who took on self-styled godman Asaram Bapu in the infamous rape case. The movie depicts Solanki defending the case, but it only refers to the accused as Baba and leaves Asaram's name out. The film is directed by debutant Apoorv Singh Karki. On May 23, 2023, ZEE5 offered it as an OTT release, however, on June 2, the Manoj Bajpayee-starring film released in theatre screens days after its OTT release. This is one of the uncommon instances where a successful OTT movie had a theatrical distribution.

Mulk:

Taapsee Pannu worked with filmmaker Anubhav Sinha for the first time in 2018, and in the role of a bold lawyer and a Hindu girl who stands with her Muslim father-in-law portrayed by Rishi Kapoor. The movie tells the story of a Muslim family that is attempting to regain its lost respect after a member joins terrorists. The movie conveyed a powerful message and depicted a world where Islamophobia, racism, and intolerance are rampant.

Jazbaa:

Jazbaa, a movie starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and the late actor Irrfan Khan about a mother attempting to save her daughter from kidnappers. Jazbaa is a remake of the South Korean movie 'Seven Days'. Shabana Azmi, Jackie Shroff, Atul Kulkarni, and Chandan Roy Sanyal were also featured in the Bollywood version of the movie in addition to Aishwarya and Irrfan. Aishwarya can be seen as playing the mother in the movie while late actor Irrfan Khan played the cop who teamed up with Aish to find her daughter.

Shaurya:

Shaurya is a 2008 Hindi film written and directed by Samar Khan, starring Kay Kay Menon, Deepak Dobriyal, Minissha Lamba, and Rahul Bose. The suspenseful legal thriller, which draws inspiration from Tom Cruise's classic film A Few Good Men, follows an army lawyer who is determined to reveal the truth about a murder in order to prevent a soldier from facing a court-martial.

Nail Polish:

Nail Polish is directed by Bugs Bhargava Krishna. It is a courtroom drama which stars Arjun Rampal, Manav Kaul, Anand Tiwari and Rajit Kapur in pivotal roles. The film is based on true events, which leaves it more open to suspense. This captivating film will keep you at the edge of your seats.
