Liger: Vijay Deverakonda reveals getting beaten up by Mike Tyson, says it 'shook my head but gave me confidence'

Vijay Deverakonda is excited about the release of his film, Liger. On August 25, the action-thriller will hit the big screens. Ahead of that, the actor stunned the film audience and his fans on Tuesday by releasing a new film titled Jana Gana Mana. The makers of #JGM shared a first look poster of the film on their Twitter account. The poster is fascinating, and fans are eager to learn more about Liger actor Deverakonda's upcoming project.

The film's press meet took place in Mumbai on Tuesday, and the actor, director Puri Jagannadh, producer Charmme Kaur, and Vamshi Paidipally all attended the event. Deverakonda responded to several questions posed by the journalists on the occasion.

When asked about his time working with Mike Tyson, Deverakonda responded by saying that it was a bizarre experience working with him. Michael Jackson, Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, and Mike Tyson are all considered legends in their respective fields. People will recognise them if you travel to any country on the planet. Michael Jackson and Bruce Lee are no longer alive, but he had the opportunity to work with Mike Tyson, a great figure.

Deverakonda revealed that Tyson thrashed him, which made him shake his head but also gave him confidence. It was enjoyable, and the actor couldn't talk about a lot of the things Tyson has done, but they've left an indelible impression on Deverakonda.

Liger directed by Puri Jagannadh, is about an underdog who rises from the streets of Mumbai to become an MMA fighter. Mike Tyson, America's former professional boxer, will play a key role in the film. Makrand Deshpande, Ronit Roy, Ramya Krishnan, and others play pivotal roles. Ananya Panday will be seen romancing Deverakonda.

Vishnu Sharma is in charge of cinematography, and Junaid Siddiqui is in charge of editing. Mani Sharma has been enlisted to write the soundtrack for this film.
