Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the theme was released on the actor's birthday.
On the occasion of actor Vijay Deverakonda's birthday, the makers of his upcoming film, Liger have shared a teaser of the theme song. Titled, The Liger Hunt theme, the teaser sure packs a few solid punches.
The teaser shares a few glimpses of the sports drama, chronicling the journey of Vijay's character from the slums to becoming a professional boxer. The theme song is upbeat and gives you an adrenaline rush. Vijay with six-pack abs, long hair and boxers, looks fierce and focussed.
The actor took to social media to announce the release of the theme song. He shared a video where he is seen talking about the 'fights' he had to pick to earn every bit of respect and a place in this world, the fight to get every ticket of his movie sold and how he had to fight for every fan's love, belief and support. He urges everyone who are fighting for their family and themselves to never stop the 'hunt'. He captioned the post saying, "My Birthday Morning thoughts - Between you and Me :) I love you all ❤️ Sending strength your way :)"

The film, directed by Puri Jagannadh, will hit the theatres on August 25, 2022. It will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. It is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur and Karan Johar.
Johar too took to social media to share the poster of the film. Wishing him a very happy birthday, he wrote: "He’s the storm that’s about to take over the whole of India! On his special day, presenting #LigerHunt! Happy birthday @thedeverakonda , this year is yours!!"

The film also stars Ananya Panday, Ronit Roy and Ramya Krishnan. It features boxing legend Mike Tyson in a cameo role. The film revolves around Vijay Deverakonda as a kickboxer. It was shot both in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously.
The film's cinematography is by Vishnu Sarma. The background score is composed by Mani Sharma and Tanishk Bagchi and the sports drama is edited by Junaid Siddiqui.
