Liger song shoot: Expect a fully massy crazy feast from Vijay Deverakonda, says Charmme Kaur

A song from Vijay Deverakonda's pan-Indian boxing drama Liger is being shot at Mumbai currently

Liger, the boxing drama directed by Puri Jagannadh, starring Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday, Ramya Krishna, Mike Tyson and others in prominent roles, is undoubtedly one of the most awaited releases of 2022. Vijay has undergone a massive makeover for the film and has been working hard on his physique for over two years to get his boxer-act right. The presence of Karan Johar as one of the producers besides the buzz surrounding Mike Tyson's first appearance in an Indian film have given a lot of hype for Liger too. In its last phase of shoot, team Liger is currently filming a high-voltage mass number in Mumbai.

Sharing an update about the song, one of the film's producers, actress Charmme Kaur posted, "#LIGER song shoot in mumbai, and trust me, @TheDeverakonda is dancing like never before. expect a full massy crazy feast/ PS - this tweet is due to the adrenaline rush I m having rite now watching this hottie ‘s energy." The tweet also had Charmme post an image where Vijay Deverakonda is seen wearing a funky shirt, three rings on his right hand, where he's signalling audiences to ready themselves for a feast that awaits them.

Vijay Deverakonda has distanced himself from electrifying mass numbers in his career till now and it's going to be incredibly interesting to see how he fares as a dancer with Liger. The film promises to be a full-on commercial package, touted to release in over five languages (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada). Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna has agreed to dub for Mike Tyson in the film. Ronit Roy, Ali, Makarand Deshpande, Getup Srinu essay supporting roles.

"As a director, the performance of Vijay Deverakonda for Liger has truly surprised me and I can't wait to see how audiences will react to it. The film will supersede everyone's expectations," the director Puri Jagannadh said recently. Vijay Deverakonda asked audiences to gear up for a blockbuster 2022 and told them that the coming year would be 'ours' to fans in an event. Indian Idol fame Shanmukha Priya has also crooned for a number in Liger recently. Tanishk Bagchi is working on the songs, while ace composer Mani Sharma is coming up with the background score for the same.
