Liger song Akdi Pakdi teaser: Vijay Deverakonda-Ananya Panday will make you step into dancing shoes

Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer Liger is on its way to hit the cinema theatres soon. Meanwhile, the makers have just dropped the teaser of its first song. The upcoming peppy track titled Akdi Pakdi is crooned by composed by Lijo George-Dj Chetas

The teaser video sees Vijay and Ananya stepping into the pairs of tapori dance shoes. From the set-up of the song, it seems like one of those end-credit scene songs. Vijay can be seen tapping his feet on some extraordinary choreography along with hundreds of dancers around.

The mass entertaining track will be out on Monday, July 11 at 4 o'clock.

The diva shared the latest track on her official Instagram handle and wrote, "Lets go Boyyyysssss!!! Full. All out. Mass! Here's #AKDIPAKDI Promo Song Releasing on 11th July @ 4:00 PM #Liger #LigerOnAug25th (sic)."

Meanwhile, a few days ago, the filmmaker shared a semi-nude poster Liger that sees the actor holding a bouquet of roses and only wearing boxing gloves.

Reportedly, Vijay's trainer, Kuldep Sethi trained him within 3 weeks for the semi-nude photoshoot. The fitness guru recently revealed to Pinkvilla in an interview the photoshoot happened last week just after the lockdown got over during the COVID -19 pandemic. Even though the actor was merely fit, he needed a specific look and body type for the image. The trainer got only three weeks to help Vijay build up the ideal physique and he did.

The action-romantic is a bilingual film, which also stars Ronit Roy and Ramya Krishna in key roles as well as American boxer Mike Tyson in an extended cameo role.

The Puri Jagannadh directorial has been backed by his own banner named Puri Connects alongside Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

Liger will release in theatres on August 25.
