Fans of Shah Rukh Khan are upset after a US journalist today compared Shah Rukh Khan to Tom Cruise in an article that he wrote about Pathaan's blockbuster performance. While there is no debate that King Khan is one of the biggest movie stars in the world, did you know that there are several Hollywood stars who are fans of Shah Rukh? 

Leonardo DiCaprio
Did you know that the Inception actor and Pathaan star were once approached to do a movie together in a film produced by Martin Scorsese, titled Xtreme City? Unfortunately, the project never took off. Leonardo, however, said that he would love to work with Shah Rukh because that would make him "even more popular".

Hugh Jackman
In 2011, when Hugh Jackman was asked at an event in India who he thought could play Wolverine apart from him, he promptly answered "Shah Rukh Khan". Not just that, Hugh also called SRK "God" and said he needed to take dance lessons from him.

During his India visit in 2010, Avatar director James Cameron called Shah Rukh a "giant movie star". He went on to say that he wants the actor to sign a movie poster of My Name Is Khan for him.

When she spotted Shah Rukh Khan at the Red Sea International Film Festival last year, Sharon Stone reacted like any fan would: with her mouth wide open. Speaking later about the incident, she stated that she is not easily impressed by celebrities, but she was definitely impressed when she saw Bollywood's Baadshah.

In 2012, Penelope Cruz was all praise for Shah Rukh Khan for his performance in the film Swades. She said that she would love to do a traditional role in a Bollywood film and would like to star alongside SRK.

Calling him one of the best romantic heroes, Twilight star Kristen Stewart said in 2011 that she wants to do Bollywood and Hollywood films with SRK. Calling him an "inspiration", the actor said that she looks forward to watching his films.

Robert Pattinson
While promoting his Twilight film in 2011, Robert Pattinson listed Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge among his top 5 favourite films, saying he liked the "sweet romance" in the film. He even said that he was a fan of Shah Rukh Khan.

In 2010, when British actor Daniel Radcliffe was promoting his Harry Potter film, he revealed that he was fond of Shah Rukh. He added that SRK is popular in Britain and that he is the "epitome of style and class".

Zayn Malik
British singer Zayn Malik was taken aback by how humble King Khan is when the two met at the 2015 Asian Awards. Zayn added that he loves SRK's Devdas, telling Elle India in an interview: "If you ever get a chance to watch a good Bollywood movie, watch Devdas!"
