The duo first collaborated in the 2021’s comedy sci-fi Don't Look Up, which also stars Jennifer Lawrence in the lead. Since then it seems like DiCaprio and Chalamet have become quite friendly with each other.

Timothée first revealed about the advice back in 2022, saying that DiCaprio told him, “No hard drugs and no superhero movies.” In his over three decades of career, Leonardo never tried any superhero flick yet, and interestingly so as Timothée. Hence, it can be assumed why Leonardo advised Chalamet something serious.

In a recent interview with The New York Times during the promotional tour for the upcoming Dune: Part Two, Timothée Chalamet once again reflected on his relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio's advice. He hinted that unlike DiCaprio, he has not entirely ruled out the possibility, leaving a hope of openness to exploring such roles in the future.
