Leo: Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj film to be shot by the 'big daddy of cameras', reveals Manoj Paramahamsa

The shooting for the film, which also stars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Saraja, is currently underway in Kashmir

The shoot for Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj's upcoming film Leo is underway in Kashmir. In the meantime, the film's cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa threw a surprise to Vijay fans and dropped a BTS video from the sets of the film. He revealed that the film was being shot using the 'big daddy of red cameras.

Taking to his social media handle, Manoj Paramahamsa, wrote, "The big daddy of red cameras arrived ! red’ V RAPTOR XL is out of the box virtual production ready with wireless timecode , genlock , phase shifts and lot more and internal ND’s are breeze … my red dsmc3 family is complete with v raptor xl , two raptors and the baby Komodo … ready for the war at #leo (sic)." The video also gives a peek of the hi-tech camera and the making video sure seems to be giving fans a new high.

Mysskin and Gautham Vasudev Menon, who play crucial roles in the film, are said to have wrapped up their portions. We hear that at the speed at which the team is shooting the film, there are high chances that they will complete the schedule by the end of March. Leo marks Vijay's second collaboration with Lokesh Kanagaraj after their hit film, Master. The film also marks the comeback of Trisha and Vijay after a span of more than a decade and fans are excited about their reunion.

The rest of the star cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas and Sandy Master to name a few. Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander and editing by Philomin Raj. The dialogues are penned by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy. The film is bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio and Jagadish Palanisamy marking his maiden venture in production.​
