Vijay in Leo

The release of the most-anticipated Lokesh Kanagaraj movie, Leo, is less than 40 days away. Though advance booking for the film in India is yet to begin, Ahimsa Entertainment, its UK distributor, opened the same a few days ago. They announced the other day that more than 18,000 tickets were sold.

This is a huge record for any Indian movie in the country. Fans are now curious to know how many tickets will be sold before October 19, on which the action flick will be released in five languages across the world.

The UK distributor comes up with a major update on Leo

A few days ago, it was announced that the chartbuster song from Leo, Naa Ready, was censored and that the CBFC instructed the makers to replace a few objectionable shots and lyrics. Fans who were upset over this started guessing about the possible after-effects this is likely to make in the long run.

Movie buffs are expecting an uninhibitedly made Lokesh film and if the Censor Board attempts to tone down the vision of the filmmaker, they feel they are in for a huge disappointment. Sensing their concerns, Ahimsa Entertainment has informed that they will be playing the uncensored version of Leo in the UK.

Awaiting reports from BBFC

They tweeted, "Out of respect for Lokesh Kanagaraj's vision, we're committing to NO CUTS for #LEO's UK release. Every frame is essential, and audiences deserve to experience it in its raw form (sic)." The current box office sales for #LEO in the UK exclude tickets for children.

Once the movie's age rating certification has been finalized by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), they might switch to a 12A-friendly version.
