Leo, the Thalapathy Vijay starrer directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj turned one today, and the team celebrated the special occasion, by dropping the ‘The Chronicles Of Leo’ video on social media.

Leo, the action-drama film that features Thalapathy Vijay in the titular role, hit the theatres on October 19, 2023. The movie, which marked the Tamil superstar’s second collaboration with hitmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj collected over Rs 622 crore within its lifetime theatrical run. As Leo turned one today, director Lokesh and the film's makers treated the Thalapathy Vijay fans and cinephiles, with a special making video. The video, titled ‘The Chronicles Of Leo’, is now winning the internet.

The production banner, Seven Screen Studio recently took to its official social media handles and celebrated one year of the film’s release, with special posts. “Team Leo, this one’s for you, who poured their hearts into making #Leo the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2023,” wrote the proud makers. Later, director Lokesh Kanagaraj and his team treated the Thalapathy Vijay fans and cinephiles with a video titled ‘Chronicles Of Leo’, which consists of many memorable moments from the sets of the film.

The exciting video features the making of the most-loved fight sequences from Leo, especially the famous ‘Coffee shop killings’ scene, in detail. The Chronicles Of Leo also showcases Thalapathy Vijay’s sheer dedication to the craft, as the leading man is seen performing some risky stunts without the help of a body double, and some one-take emotional shots to near perfection.

The biggest highlight of the video, however, is Vijay’s warm bond with director Lokesh Kanagaraj, the technical crew, and his co-stars including leading Trisha Krishnan and the child artists. The netizens feel that the Leo sequel would be the perfect choice for the 70th film of Vijay, who is set to take a break from films for his political career. They also believe that an artist like Vijay, who has been a part of cinema from his childhood, will not stay away from the industry for a long time. Meanwhile, director Lokesh Kanagaraj who expressed his wish to direct Leo 2 in the future, recently revealed that the sequel might get titled ‘Parthiban’.
