Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj's upcoming film, Leo is all set to drop in theatres worldwide on October 19. The film marks the sophomore project between Vijay and Lokesh, after their maiden venture together, Master (2021).

Leo synopsis is here
The film was recently sent to the censor board and it looks like Leo has 13 cuts and modifications in it. Leo has been cleared with a U/A certificate. The runtime is 2 hours and 44 minutes. In the meantime, a synopsis of the film is now doing the rounds on the internet. It reads, "In the world of untamed rivers that's trying to drown Parthiban, whether he remains as a divine god or a dreaded demon is the rest of the story." However, there is no clarification on whether this is the official synopsis.
Anirudh gives first review of Leo
Meanwhile the film's composer Anirudh Ravichander has used the emoji of fire and trophy to describe the film, thus hinting at a sureshot winner. The film is all set to open to huge expectations. However, the trailer, which was released recently, opened to mixed reactions with many calling it disappointing. Moreover, a controversial dialogue by Vijay has already raised many eyebrows.

A huge release abroad
The film is said to be the biggest release for a Tamil film in the US and Canada. In the meantime, the film's ticket sales began six weeks ahead of the release in the UK and a whopping number of tickets were sold within a span of 24 hours.
Cast and crew
The film has an ensemble cast comprising Vijay, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Trisha, Priya Anand, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, Sandy Master, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas to name a few. Vijay plays dual roles in the film. Cinematography is by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing is by Philomin Raj. Leo is produced by Seven Screen Studio and The Route.
