With just a few hours left for the release of Leo, fans of Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj are excited to the core as their long wait is coming to an end. The movie's FDFS will begin around the same time in Kerala, Karnataka and a few overseas markets.

However, cinephiles in Tamil Nadu are allowed to watch the film only at 9 am as the government has not granted permission to screen the action drama at 4 am or 7 am. The much-awaited Tamil movie has already registered several records worldwide.

The director has now taken to Twitter to thank everyone who was associated with the dream project. He specifically mentioned Vijay's name for elevating the vision he had and for the immense dedication he showcased while working for Leo.

However, Lokesh cleverly refrained from talking about the movie being part of LCU. He said that the audience is going to know about the much-awaited secret in a few hours' time. He added, "I kindly request you all not to share any spoilers of the film as we all want a delightful experience for every individual (sic)."

All eyes on the box office

Leo will emerge as the numero uno Tamil movie in terms of day-one collection, surpassing the feat of Rajinikanth's Kabali, Jailer and 2.0. It is expected that the film will gross more than 120 crores worldwide tomorrow.

With a record number of shows going houseful for a week in almost every territory, the film is poised to create a never-before-heard BO collection for the weekend as well.
