The team is currently shooting for an extended schedule in Kashmir
Ever since the team of Leo began its shooting schedule in Kashmir, the makers have been dropping one update after another from time to time. The latest we hear is that Gautham Menon, who plays a crucial character in the film, celebrated his birthday on the set. A picture of Gautham Menon standing with the team in front of a giant cake is doing the rounds on the internet. The film's producers dropped the picture on their social media handle, and captioned it, "@menongautham sir’s birthday celebration from the sets of #LEO Wishing the man who redefined Kollywood with his cult classic films May this year be a BLOODY SWEET adventure sir #Thalapathy @actorvijay sir @Dir_Lokesh @trishtrashers @Jagadishbliss (sic)."
It was only this morning that director-actor Mysskin, who wrapped up his portions for the film, dropped a note on his social media handle. His note in Tamil translates to, "Today, I am returning to Chennai from Kashmir. At -12 degree celsius, Leo’s team of 500 members worked hard to wrap up my schedule… The stuntmen masters worked hard to make a fight scene special, and I was surprised by the love and respect I received.”
His note added, "Lokesh is functioning in the field like a soldier, who is both loving and strict. He hugged me after shooting my last scene, and I kissed him on his forehead. I feel happy to have worked with my beloved brother Vijay in this film, and I will never forget the love."
The star cast of Leo comprises Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Sandy Master, Mathew Thomas, Priya Anand, Vasanthi to name a few. The film marks Vijay's second collaboration with Lokesh after their hit film, Master. Leo is bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio and Jagdish Palanisamy, marking his debut in production.
