There are a few new Kannada films in theatres this week, namely Raj B Shetty’s Swathi Mutthina Male Haniye, Abishek Ambareesh’s Bad Manners and Darling Krishna’s Sugar Factory. If a trip to the movie halls does not sound exciting and you’d rather spend the Thanksgiving weekend firmly on your couch, here are some suggestions to check out on OTT. There are no new Kannada originals, but quite a few dubbed ones that you can dig in to.
Leo
Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo was supposed to be the big OTT release last week, but the streamer had other plans. It is definitely headed to Netflix on November 24 and will be available with Kannada audio. The Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial follows Parthi, a café owner, who is mistaken for a former gangster called Leo, and how that affects his family. The film also stars Trisha, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Madonna Sebastian, Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Sarja, among others.

Sathiya Sothanai
