Leo was one of the most awaited films in Telugu states as well. The action drama was brought to us by producer Naga Vamsi. He shelled out a lot of money for the dubbing rights of the film and released on a decent number of screens. As Bhagavanth Kesari featuring Balakrishna was also released on the same day, the theatre count for Leo was a little less.

The day-one numbers are out and Leo has made a whopping share of Rs 7 crore share in Telugu states which is huge. This amount is also the highest ever for Vijay in Telugu states. The bookings for day two are also good and the trade is expecting big numbers in the first two days.

As days pass by, the theatres for Leo will also increase in the interiors of AP and Telangana. Speaking in a press meeting, producer Naga Vamsi said that Leo has opened strongly and the positive word of mouth is only increasing with each show.

He also adds that Lokesh's films take time to reach the audience but once they do, the collections will automatically improve in the days to come. Sanjay Dutt and Arjun played key roles in this film which had Trisha as the heroine.

In Tamil Nadu and the rest of the world, Leo has taken a staggering start at the box office with over Rs 120 crore gross. But in Hindi, Leo is off to a slow start and the numbers coming in are not that encouraging.

We need to see how well will Leo fare in the days to come as yet another biggie, Tiger Nigeswara Rao also released today. Anirudh has composed music for the film. Watch this space for more updates on Leo.
